Question:
What must I do to be saved?
Answer:
4 Points will help you understand your faith:
-You are a sinner. (1 John 1:8; Romans 3:10-12,23.) There is a problem with your sinful condition before a holy God.
-God will judge sin and sinners. (Romans 6:23; Ezekiel 18:4.) God does not lower His standards or "grade on a curve."
-You cannot pay your own sin debt (all of your good works are insufficient), but Christ took the penalty as your substitute when He died on the cross. (Romans 6:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Isaiah 53:5,6.)
-You must receive Him by faith. All who call on Him will be saved. (John 1:12; Romans 4:4,5; 5:1; 10:9,13.)
Call out to the Lord from your heart: Dear God, I know that you love me. I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I know you can save me because Jesus died on the cross for my sin and rose from the dead. Please forgive me for all my sin. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
